Product Description The New Yorker offers a smart, lively, and timely mix of politics and world affairs, business and science, and arts and letters. Its writers and artists, the finest working today, fill the magazine with award-winning reporting, criticism, fiction, poetry -- and cartoons. The Kindle Edition of The New Yorker will usually include all articles, fiction, and poetry found in the print edition and a selection of cartoons, but will not include other images at this time. For your convenience, issues are auto-delivered wirelessly to your Kindle at the same time the print edition hits the newsstand each Monday.

Missing issues? Undelivered issues expire and cannot be downloaded September 5, 2010 Lifelong Student (Florida, U.S.A.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Discovered today that undelivered issues of the magazine, other than the most current issue, cannot be delivered to my Kindle. This is a problem I encountered with both The Atlantic and The New Yorker. Kindle support will issue a credit for undelivered, undeliverable issues. (You can choose a promotional credit or a refund to your credit card.) Hated to cancel my Kindle subscription and return to paper, but inconsistent delivery is not acceptable. I want every issue of the magazine downloaded once to my Kindle, or what's the point of an electronic subscription? Who knew there was an expiration date on downloads? Hope this helps.
The New Yorker and Der Kindle are an unbeatable combo August 30, 2010 GregD (NY) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am a brand new K user. First thing I did was subscribe to The New Yorker. Pair one of the best magazines with the best e-reader and you have an unbeatable combination. Just about all the print magazines content is available on the K edition. You miss only the photos and drawings, and one feature - the sketchbook. Everything else, and I mean even those magnificent cartoons, is available on the K. And it's so easy - the mag just appears like magic on your K. Bring the magazine with you everywhere, read it when you have a few moments and get back to it later. Save the back issues on the K and save the space at home where you were storing those old issues that you were meaning to get around to reading.
Most of the bad reviews on this site are by people who can't get access to the magazine, or who question the price. Pay them no mind. The New Yorker on the K is a home run!
Kindle Version of New Yorker August 28, 2010 DesiB 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am a long-term subscriber to the New Yorker Magazine. As my subscription was coming up for renewal I was looking forward to switching to a kindle version. Unfortunately, the kindle version is not available in my area - Latin America and the Caribbean. I find this ridiculous and have not renewed my "paper" subscription. Could someone at Amazon explain the reason for the discriminatory treatment of international customers! The New Yorker (1-year auto-renewal)
The New Yorker August 27, 2010 Henri R. Vanmaasdijk (Amsterdam, Netherlands) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
When I bought my Kindle this summer, I was very disappointed to find that the only magazine that I was really looking for was not on the list.
Can you imagine how happy I was when I got your mailing today and found The New Yorker listed in Kindle version!!
Then you can also imagine, how utterly disappointed I was to find out that the magzine is not available for readers in Europe!!
Can anybody explain why????
All Amazon books and, as far as I can see, all magazines are available to us. The New Yorker is the only exception.
Are we not intellectually mature enough to warrant a New Yorker Kindle version in our parts of the world? Or what is it?
